🚫 Conflict Prevention

HELD and CONFIRMED occurrences block the resource
Cancelled / Rejected / Expired / Completed occurrences do not block
Two occurrences conflict when time intervals overlap on the same date (room) or overlapping date ranges (car)
Room booking form disables start/end time options that would overlap existing HELD or CONFIRMED room bookings

Recurring Bookings

Recurring booking creates one BookingRequest and 1–52 BookingOccurrence rows
Only ROOM supports recurring schedules; CAR bookings are always single requests
v1 supports WEEKLY recurrence only with selected weekdays and count/until end rules
If any occurrence conflicts, the whole create request fails and nothing is saved
Approval is request-level: approving one recurring request confirms every HELD occurrence
Approval is blocked if any occurrence is no longer HELD when admin reviews the request
Cancel options: this occurrence only, or the entire recurring request

Approval Policy

Only affects new bookings going forward
Existing Pending / Processing bookings remain in the queue
Each room/car has its own policy: Approval Required or Auto Approvals
Configured only from Administration → Manage Rooms / Manage Cars
